@witcher1125 people laugh about how cheesy the scene looks but they cry when they realize the three reasons why he is crying. The first was that he is under a virus that lowers inhibitions and makes him express his deepest emotions. 2. The sparker was that Nurse Chapel told Spock she loved him and because he is half Vulcan he can't recipricate that love and feels guilt. And 3 one of his other guilts was he never got to tell his mother he loved her.
