"Are you okay?" Nick asks, scared.
"Yeah. There was just a sort of spazzish type deal in my leg. Sit." I patted the spot next to me on the bed. Nick walked over and I used all my strength to move over for him. He sat down and placed his hand on mine.
"How are you feeling?" he asks.
"My eh...girl spot really hurts. Really bad. They won't even let me pee because I might get an infection.
"Ew."
"Yeah, you probably didn't need to know that."
"Everything about you interests me. Even your...vaginal infection." his eye twitched.
I laughed weakly and looked down at the cuts and inscisions on my arms and wrists from the aggressiveness of my rapists.
"Do you know who did this to you?" Nick ran his fingers along the stitches on my forehead.
"Everything happened so fast. And I was crying. I couldn't see anything. But I felt everything. I just know...it was three guys."
"When I find out who it was I'll kick their asses." he sighed angrily.
"I recognize two of the voices," I thought hard, "D-D-David." I closed my eyes and thought harder. "And C-Cody. And someone else."
"David and CODY? My best friend Cody?"
"I know it was him. I heard his voice when he told someone to get my hands."
"Who the hell put them up to this?"
I had an idea of who. "I don't know."
"Demi, while you were on the floor in your house, I said something to you."
"What?"
"I said--"
He was interupted by the news on tv.
"Today around 3 o'clock pm, the Torrez house in Tribeca was broken into. 17 year old Demi Torrez was brutally assaulted and raped. She was left on the rug of her living room. Paramedics found Demi with duct tape over her mouth and around her wrists. Stay tuned for more details of the Demi Torrez case." the reporter said.
I started crying. "Why would someone do this to me? I'm not a bad person! I've never done anything wrong!"
"It's no--"
"Does no one like me? I don't have a fucking reason to be alive anymore do I? All I ever do is get raped and beaten and beaten and raped! My life is meaningless! Pointless!" I cried into my blanket.
"Demi--"
I continued to cry.
"DEMI!" Nick yells over me.
I cried harder.
Nick cupped my face. "Demi, I love you!"
