Some of the wine kits-require you to add
water. Some of them contain two and one half
gallons of concentrated juice. When you add
your water to it-it has a tendency to drop
the total sugar content to 21%.So you must
add sugar to bring it to 25%.This will produce
12 to 14 % alcohol if it ferments to the
full alcohol potential.

Thanks for the comment,
vallo, then you also add sugar to your wine kits, to take up the alcohol level? I've had some weak 11.5 and prefer the 13.5 range.

I want to thank you very much. I used to have a kit back in the 70's like the one you bought at Cabelas. I have been looking for another one for years and didn't know where to get one until I saw your vid. Thank you again.

I'm happy my video was a help to someone, the Cabelas kit was the first ever wine I have made, and it got me interested in the larger batches. If I remember correctly, I think it can be ordered with a choice of one white, or one of two reds. We still have a few bottles of the Merlot left, I don't have much patience when it comes to aging....LoL. Thanks for viewing.
