@iamnotspazzing "You will be strong, you will be strong." Love you in Christ! He loves you, even when you feel unloveable =P (which we all feel sometimes haha)
-
@iamnotspazzing that bites man. I have you in my thoughts. you know, quite often I would get stressed, because I tried to remind myself "other people have it a lot worse than me" even though I felt like my life was falling apart. It's okay to be upset, hurt, frustrated, and angry, so long as your don't sin in doing it. those things themselves aren't sin. Take these things up with Jesus, and also talk to someone else. Get it out. God bless.

@iamnotspazzing Jesus will heal you :)

I'm currently a miserable human being. I'm recovering from surgery and I lay on this stupid couch and everything kinda sucks for me while life is normal for everyone else. I have no willpower cause of the pain, and I have no boldness because I'm so needy and pathetic feeling. Jesus keeps me from crying about my stupid situation. Other people have it worse, but I'm not gonna be upset. I can't do this, but my God can. <3

I saw them in concert and CHOSEN in Gaylord Michigan! They stayed at the same hotel as us and gave our vans a jump start! Haha you guys are awesome!

@robearberbils Well to me I'm not necessarily actively believing that everything came from nothing. Maybe it just was always there. All I know is that "I don't know". And that's the position of atheism - not believing that any of these gods exist. To me the argument that "it just makes more sense that a deistic god came from nothing" reminds me of the other arguments for the theistic god - "It just makes sense" to theists. That doesn't mean it makes sense at all-Idk. That's me. ;)

@luvtheheaven5 to me theres no good proof or reason for either side. i like the big bang, but theres no logical reasoning for the existence of the dense matter. just believing that its always been there is, to me, as much a leap as a omnipotent being. i dont believe in an all powerful god and miracles, but atheism doesnt work for me. Makes a little more sense that the deistic god came from nowhere than the matter;) deisnt god to me creates the beginning, the steps back and watches

My brother and I lead the music for our youth group and this is one of the songs we do! Its one of our favorites. :)

@jimcoolfilms And read my other comments. I don't search up videos about God just to prove he doesn't exist. And seriously I highly recommend that video I just linked to on open-mindedness. It's not about atheism at all really. But it applies completely in this situation: /watch?v=T69TOuqaqXI Seriously the first sentence he says is about *exactly* what you just said to me.
-
@jimcoolfilms I am very open minded. You're actually the one being closed minded. /watch?v=T69TOuqaqXI I definitely considered religion, I tried to be religious, I considered multiple religious actually. None seemed true to me though.
-
@luvtheheaven5 if you don't belive in God why do you search up videos about God just to prove he dosent exist? and you can be at least be open minded.
-
@ImSoOffended I personally didn't come here to evangelize atheism, I came here because I kinda liked the song but kinda wished to share my point of view & perhaps let the sea of believers know that some of us don't believe. I wasn't the only one who liked the song and came here but is an atheist. I think it's important to help people get started on their own process of deconversion whenever possible because religion is an awful force in the world. Atheism was so liberating for me.

@luvtheheaven5 *exist
-
@robearberbils Where did the deistic god come from then? I don't see how deism makes sense personally. ;) I think atheism is the only logical conclusion really. It's not a sure statement that nothing supernatural exists but rather atheism is just a lack of actively believing that gods exist. It's not being convinced by any of the religions nor deists' arguments, that's all. For me, there's no good reason to actually believe in the deistic type of god. Therefore I don't.

@JesusLovesUsSoMuch1 How do you know that? XD You're viewing it through the lens of being sure that the bible is flawless, then coming up with explanations for how it could possibly be flawless when it's so obviously flawed. Like the Orthodox Jewish Rabbi from 0:38-0:48 in this vid said: /watch?v=Znth9H-0-8g etc. It's just crazy to me that people r so afraid to consider the obvious. The invisible man in the sky doesn't exit, any "feelings" you have of him are psychological.
-
@luvtheheaven5 Every contradiction with science is either a mistake of the one who translated, or a misinterpretation, or us not understanding the nature of the people back then. For example, your "insects only have four legs" argument is simply because back then they didn't consider the big back legs as legs.
-
Why argue theology on such a beautiful and well written piece of art? The bible may have grammatical "blunders", and that proves what about the power of Jesus Christ? If any blame is put on grammatical errors in the bible it is to people who translated, God himself didn't write the Bible, his prophets did. What you Agnostics/whatever you are that argue on Christian videos lack a sense of faith and exalt skepticism in anything.

my favorite relient k song!

@kewlazpewp "always existed" is a far cry from the belief of all. the universe of expanding with two possibilites. i understand little of the physic, but with the high concentration of astrophysicists in Huntsville maybe ill ask one day. anywho either it will continue to expand and eventually everything will die out. or contract back in and possibly another big bang. whos to say this hasnt already happened, many times? God worked in very odd ways, especially in the old testament.
-
@ImSoOffended Im not a believer anymore, but relient k still amazes me. I see no reason to hold someones beliefs against them or patronize them.
personally, atheism doesnt work. Deism is as far as i see things going. dense matter had to come from somewhere. but please note @kewlazpewp that dark matter and the dense matter from the big bang are two different things. dark matter exists all around us. The key to arguing effectively is to be civilized and informed :)
I chose this song for my baptism yesterday !
