Thank you for the uploads, neonkt1! This was a fantastic series and a superb (albeit bittersweet) ending. I was never into British humor before this, but now I'm starting to check out more of these shows. All-in-all though, "GS" had what a lot of 90's sitcoms in general didn't have, and that's a lot of heart.

i feel like the last episode was a real let down....

and now with nicholas lyndhurst not doing nowt....

i wish they would bring it back for another series....

i think it could work......script writers can do loads these days!

I liked this show from seasons 1-3, but lost interest when they recast the Phoebe and Yvonne characters—the original actresses were perfect. Also, as Gary got more comfortable with his dual relationships, I found his character to be increasingly unlikeable.

@thepilotisgone The thing I gleaned most enjoyment from GS was the appreciation of music and songs, and the datelessnessism.

From George Formby to Prodigy, Engelbert Humperdink to the Beatles.

From 'A change is gonna come', to 'I am an anarchist' and 'Two Little Boys', etc.

To think that these songs were all written by Gary Sparrow.

yeah... i kinda like the ending but it just wasnt enough really... they couldve made it more epic...

plus pheboe had followed gary down that passage in a previous episode and she ended up at garys secret "HQ" ...so why she says "what are you doing here Gary?" makes no sense...
