    For reference of good protoss.vs.muta play, see naniwa vs leenock. Naniwa lost because he decided to blink suicide 20 stalkers into blings but he showed how it could done: turtle up with minimal loss, then come out with a slow but ridiculously powerful as fuck mothership/stalker/archon army.

    Mutas never win games automatically unless the protoss is absolutely trash, all it does is gives zerg map control for zerg to build up econ and tech, but everything zerg does will be IN PREPARATION for the protoss 3 base death push. So you are missing the point of muta play, mutas themselves don't win games, it just gives zerg more freedom to set up for protoss death push. But in this game destiny played really well and mana didn't so no 3 base death ball ever came out.

    Hi honey, I am a grandmaster level zerg on SEA server. While muta is certainly very very strong on large maps like tald, protoss is capable of some very strong 3 base attacks (a non-retarded zerg wont allow toss to get 4th). The traditional storm/mass stalker works (no, getting archon and HT storm together is retarded, no gas), you get a strong and fast 15 min max push. Or the slower mothership deathball push (counters BL too).

  • If mass muta is so powerful, how come it's not used every game?

  • Where's the other casters? I have no prob with these 2 but how about some games by HD and painuser? Just nice to hear some other perspectives.

  • I miss the amulet. It used to make HTs more fun.

  • @quercuz23 This allows the zerg to mass expand while p is busy defending for the whole game.

  • @quercuz23 Really? The problem is not defending. The problem is protoss can't gain an offensive position because they will always be stuck in a base race position which next to impossible on a large map.

    I can see you're a zerg.
