'Nikola Borissov is born in 1980 in Sofia, Bulgaria. In 1999 he moves to Milan, Italy, where he graduates in Political Science and International Economics. In 2003 he discovers the unsuspected passion for photography and is gradually obsessed with its magic, until a couple of years later he decides to dedicate himself completely to the career in fashion and advertising photography. The yen for capturing the absolute perfection of the ethereal female beauty is the characteristic leading element in his work, accompanied by a linear and minimalistic visual, a pronounced accent on emotion and a conscious withdrawal from reality. Currently he lives in Milan and Sofia and collaborates with some of the leading magazines and brands in the fashion industry, though in his personal work he keeps alive his initial passion for reportage and street photography.'
