  • where's jedidiah schultz? why did they split his monologue among other people?

  • We had to do this for competition and it had to be under a certain time. So I guess we cut it out for time's sake.

  • Oh yes...and it was extremely hard to do under 6 minutes. The first time we were rehersing for it...our time was like 8 minutes.

  • You shoulda been quicker in that unload. Those minutes are valuable time.

  • I know. But it's not as easy as it looks... and we were practicing for district competition...You can't step inside the boundary line otherwise your time starts...That's why we were grabbing the sheet in the beginning instead of just running to the banister to start.

  • I don't understand hatred for gay people. I'm sorry. It just doesn't make sense.

  • this basically sucked.

this is why highschools shouldnt do this show...NOT BECAUSE OF SUBJECT MATTER...

    talent wise.

  • People are saying that high schools shouldn't be staging The Laramie Project! Well I'm sorry, but I disagree. This is exactly the age group who SHOULD be staging this tragic story! Yes,it's a starkly brutal horrific story of one young man's horrendous murder & maybe we have a tendency to want to protect our youth from such monstrocities. But we know life is filled with dark deeds & our following generations need to see just what we're capable of!

  • how much was the perductioun

  • What school was this @?

  • That Was BY FAR The WORST Interpretation Of The Script That I Have Ever Seen. I Hated The Entire 8 Minutes. if Your Going To Do It ; Then Do It Right. Tell Your Director To Jump Off A Cliff.

  • im a serious advocator for this play. as this is a great interpretation, The Laramie Project is not a drama. It is a realistic play. Its raw and bare. this interpretation is too much. the continuity does't flow well and the sound effects are to dramatic.

im not saying this is bad, because from what i see, it was extremely well done. im just saying that's now how the show was meant to be portrayed

  • You guys didn't say all the lines. Some parts that were Jedidiah's lines was said by like, 5 diff ppl.

  • We did the Laramie Project (staged, not a reading) except no music/effects. Reggie Fluty here was not acting like a cop, more like a child. And there's a continuity error as Matthew Sheppard was NEVER on stage EVER during the play. You guys did well on your take on it. But this is supposed to be realistic, not a drama. Aaron Krifels going to the body doesn't make sense as he was scared and called him from afar. We did the whole 2.5 hour play uncut...I noted some breaking up speeches.

  • A lot of people say that high schools shouldn't do this show, but that's based

on what they see on youtube. There are

many high schools that I've seen do this

show. This was just bad interpretation of

the script. I'm in this show currently, and

we've been doing really well, so far.

  • I hate to say it, but it's true. The guys who did it admitted it later. I don't think very many people outside of Laramie know this.

  • I am from Laramie. It's really surreal for me seeing this play all over the place. It saddens me that this is the only thing Laramie is known by.
