He didn't pay anything for the Bose, they are mine (his dad). :) I paid around $2,600 a set which includes the L1 (tower) and two basses. If I remember correctly, they are rated at 500 watts each set. But, the biggest advantage is how the sound fills the room without being too loud. I use them for weddings and corporate gigs and I wouldn't recommended them if you are looking for allot of bass.
