This pavlova recipe is pretty much fool proof. So easy and great for parties, dinners, special events or just about any occasion.
It's so easy my kids make it...

  • @bluehatway :-) Thrilled to hear it!

  • @Patutahora1. Yeah, I was always under the misconception the pavlova was "mission impossible" too. You're welcome!

  • This is the only Pavlova recipe that became crusty on the out side and chewy in the inside for me. Easy, simple, the best Pavlova recipe!!!! Everyone just loved it.

Thank you very much for posting!

  • New Zealand invention guys... we have a record from 1927! The best you aussies can do is 1940. SHAME! :)

  • The first MERINGUE pavlova recipe was published in New Zealand in 1927.

The first MERINGUE pavlova recipe was published in Australia in 1940.

  • @supercutegirl0926

No worries. Please to hear it :-)

    Happy cooking!!

  • @bluehatway

Wikipedia states that it's un-confirmed who first created the dish.

  • The Pav is as Kiwi as the Kiwi fruit is. LOL

  • @bluehatway Hard out also came on tv3 news gosh when will they get it through there thick head

  • The meringue pavlova is AUSSIE.

Wikipedia -> The Oxford English Dictionary states that the first recorded recipe named "pavlova" was published in New Zealand in 1927.This was a multi-coloured gelatine dish.

So the name pavlova which was a multi-coloured gelatine dish is Kiwi,

but the meringue pavlova is AUSSIE.

  • Meringue pavlova is aussie. The original kiwi pavlova was a multi-coloured gelatine dish. (wikipedia) not meringue.

  • The pavlova we know today is aussie (created in 1926). The Oxford English Dictionary states that the first recorded recipe named "pavlova" was published in New Zealand in 1927. This was a multi-coloured gelatine dish not the aussie pavlova we know today made of egg whites. "wikipedia"

  • @CasualTutorials Cheers!!

  • @TheBlizzard1995 ... Exactly. Hard on outside and soft on the inside :-)
