@mizzpipedream You don't like the guy on the right? He (Alan Wass) wrote the song, probably about 5 years ago, he's been playing it with various bands and solo in London for ages. I supported his band Lipstick Melodies a year or so ago and heard them play it then and I thought it was miles better without Pete in it (sorry Pete fans). I know they are saying it was co-written now, but I'm sure it's more because Pete brings more notoriety to the song, check this link for a better version

@Raeafu Wouldn't really classify him as a poet. I used to say that when I was younger but once you actually have a slight grasp on literature you see that Pete Doherty, although a good lyricist isn't a poet!
