Nearly 6,000 miles separates me from the events taking place in Iran. Events that have awakened my creative impulse to create a video encouraging people around the world to "be the change." Even if you cannot physically be in Iran helping its citizens exercise their right to establish a free and just society, you can pray that their protests remain as peaceful as possible until their demands for a new, just election succeeds. When was the last time you reached out and lent a hand to those less fortunate than you? When was the last time you put on someone else's shoes and walked a mile? There's a lot of work to be done in places near and far from simply lending a hand to an elderly neighbor or making a bigger commitment to world human rights issues. Maybe it's time you became the change you want to see in the world. There's a lot of work yet to be done. Be the hope to people's lives that are far from easy.

  • I appreciate the first part of your sentiment, but I really do believe that if we want to see liberty for one and all then we must "Be the change we wish to see in the world." I propose you change your thought to: "the elimination of all dictatorial governments." Thank you for taking the time to watch my video and make a comment.

  • This universe is definitely unfolding as it must and now is the time for all good people to stand up and be part of the change. We can all live in a world of peace if we only believe we can. It's time to teach peace and love to our children on a daily basis so they grow up loving each other. Imagine a world with no hate, no violence, just brothers and sisters helping each other get through this life with happiness and dignity. Peace and love to all my brothers and sisters, a new era is now!

  • Another very good and soothing video, Beach Saint, and God knows we need it. I just hope the Mullahs and the Republican Guards in Iran refrain from bringing violence upon the Iranian people who are fighting for change. That's a distinct possibility, and we won't be able to stand aside if these religious zealots start slaughtering innocents, nor should we. The only thing needed for evil to triumph is for good men to cross their arms and do nothing. I thank you for the spirit of this video!!
