New laws have been passed to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and to create coordinated water management programs including storm water runoff in California. State agencies are currently developing regulations to be adopted in 2010 which will create fees on water use, greenhouse gases, and fees to fund administrative costs. The Alliance for Successful Communities hosted a presentation that included the goals of the new law and how they would be implemented and specifically addressed how community associations will be affected.
