I've made this landing on this flight several times. What they don't show is circling below the mountain tops that ring the city before this video begins. The first time I was sitting next to a Honduras lady who was furiously crossing herself and praying. Something I need to know about here? :)

Heh -- that's the same elegant banking approach that the Marine/Navy F4U Corsair used to land on carrier decks. The F4U's big engine, huge propeller, and long nose all created a bit of a blind spot during straight landings. Navy disqualified F4Us from their main carriers (and later went all-in for the F6F), but the F4U was such an excellent plane that eventually they relented and based them in droves on the tiny escort carriers (with even shorter decks).
