Cool vid. Is there atv trails to get close to the breaker or do you have to park on the road and walk up??

The path going up the hill closest to the old breaker is very steep and sometimes partially blocked by fallen trees. Pretty much have to walk up, over and down to the breaker site. There are wide trails on top of the mountain which connect to the State Game Land parking lot farther down Butler St on Shickshinny Valley Rd.

Thanks for the tour of this old breaker and mine. Wonder why this facility was not scrapped during WW II or any other time scrap prices are high. Is this state park or game land?

@mrisfun The breaker was a much larger complex. Anything of higher value; machinery, copper wiring, etc. was salvaged. Some of the lower value items, mostly cast iron, seem to have been left behind on the steep hillside, for one reason or another. Parts of the colliery are on State Game Lands. Except for the short mine opening, which is on the side of a very steep mountain side, all of the mine shafts, slopes and openings have been filled and the lands have been reclaimed.
