What is it about Mali that makes so much of their music so resonant. I hope there will be peace in the Sahara desert one day and I can go there.

I saw this on swedish tv when aired, thanks for uploading, I wouldn't usually encourage uploading copyrighted stuff, but this is so special and different, that it should be on the UNESCO world heritage list.

@principessa1984 this is in niafunke, ali's hometown. this is the old schoolhouse where his album "niafunke" was recorded. the release date on this film is 2002.
