@ftghb But the downfield stuff is ALWAYS open because defenses KNOW the short stuff is coming.

Mark's a great thrower on the run, not in the pocket. Go back to the run and let's see some more PA passes instead of this quasi-Houston wanna be offense.

@arjl880 this proves what the problem is, go look at how drew brees looked in san diego playing for shottinghimer, he looked exactly like sanchez, shotty is the cancer holding the jets back, sanchez clearly has the arm,

mark does have a downfield arm, but a lot of those plays he's throwing to a guy open by 10 yards....he's never been tremendously accurate, often throwing to a wide open guy due to busted coverage or behind the WR....at the NFL level, he has to show he can complete the short stuff before the defense respects that to open up the downfield stuff more

@lol167lol We need a better O line and better play calling I think he is capable of doing this. He did it in the 1st 2 yrs this year has been on and off give him a better OC and a whole summer to know his WR and we will be set. I really want to see what he has and next yr should be his year. Saying it right now in 2011. J-E-T-S JETS JETS FOR LIFE.
