Very beautiful video! Some of the scenery reminds me of my home country, New Zealand. Patagonia is now definitely on my list of places to go. Keep up the good work guys!

if only the earth could be uninhabited and restored to its true original beauty. Or at least eliminate all human beings with the exception of Eco-biologists and those who have themselves surgically rendered sterile. Industry, with its evil, never-ending promise of development, convenience, and sustenance must be stopped. Can you say PROP A GANDA?!?!

@TPOver9000 Land titles are given in rare occasions, and natives r used for labor in many parts of the country because their access to education is very limited. for that reason they earn insulting wages. This is our reality and i dont expect u to learn all this in a holiday. i see that you put european colonist descendants in the same page as aboriginals, and i would like to draw the line right there. their goals and incentives are VERY different. as well as their rights and opportunities.
-
@TPOver9000 it's a fight that will never disappear as many Europeans wish it did. It's very nice to hear that your holiday in Argentina was nice and met a lot of tourist friendly people. However i can assure you that not all natives there enjoy the european given privilege of a reservation with fertile soil and all the natural resources they need to survive(fishing, hunting, etc) aboriginals deal with massive land displacements and environmental racism by local and multinational companies.

@mayansun Sorry for the wall of text and greetings from argentina.

@mayansun I have been there this summer ( bariloche) and believe me that everyone ive meet ,mapuches of a reservation and a lot of bariloche residents including a couple of park rangers, were very aware of the importance of Patagonia and ,rest assured, they know that the land will not be taken away from them. Hopefully this goverment will help to create the conditions for peace. The fight for giving all natives tribes their original lands is going to be a long one im afraid.
-
@mayansun well, we can only hope to help the natives making sure they are respected as argentinians with the same consideration we can have for any citizen, because that is what they are right now, Native people in patagonia have reserves and they are working their lands the same way most of the european colonist descendants are working their lands. People in patagonia have a wonderfull spirit and work very hard to protect the gift they have as heritage. All of them.

sometimes i wonder what give us the right to sell land in native territory....the fact that we pointed guns at their heads and told them to get lost?....that's not very civilized and i don't think it had any legality. In fact is a complete violation of human rights. So if taken seriously there are legal grounds to present in a fair court regarding the legality of all this land transactions.

@DFacundoC While the Patagonia region spans both Argentina and Chile, the future Patagonia National Park is in the Aysen region of Chile. For more information check out Conservacion Patagonica's website.
