Back in 2009, I had one of the most intense episodes of sleep paralysis I've ever experienced.
I tried replicating the episode with sound effects and Audacity; I actually came very close.

This is where I found everything I needed to know, so I could go into sleep paralysis myself.

  • I never heard voices or waterfalls or dogs barking or any of that stuff in sleep paralysis. The only thing i hear during sleep paralysis is my brain frequencies. like a "WOOwooWOOwoo" sound. I hate how people here think that sleep paralysis is a scary thing, and make assumptions such as demons taking over their bodies. Shut the fuck up. Its all imagination, you go through this every night, its natural.

  • God damn trolls,i actually want to talk about this

  • the screaming distorted sound yes, but the clear voice channel noises no

  • I only hear loud tinnitus sounds, but last night i heard the song "Last ones left" by 2pac, haha i sang along. x)

  • "Hahahaha you sisy, how silly you are!" I try to scream.... "mommy mommy.. pag hahahhaha" that's the real one!

  • SIMPLE! The police are doing this! They use something that identifies and disables any recording devices in the room, if you would analyse this you would find its just calls coming in on their walkie talkies mixed with their own voices. The Project is called Mindwars!

  • I heard something like this minus the talking, and I guess my brain was thinking aliens because that is what I saw

  • Thats exactly what i Heard before Astral projecting

  • Mine are much different, but at about 50 seconds, when the sound sharpens and distorts while getting louder is exactly how it happens. for me it's usually the sound of a large dog running at me from a distance and as it gets closer it starts snarling. I know it's not real and i'm fully concience but i still can't help but being terrified as it sounds 100% real.

  • what i hear in my sleep is loud buzzing sounds and feel like im elevating

  • @UgetMe09 You cannot have any negative emotions on you when you go through it. Do you notice that the more you fear, the worse the experience becomes? This is because when you enter the dream world, everything manifests on your thoughts. So If you are calm and you think "oh its normal, this is going to be quick and easy B-)" then it will be...if you think negative thoughts or have any anxiety or nervousness, then it just might become a bad experience. The sooner you understand this the better :)
