Paul mcartney wrote the song and didnt fancy it himself so passed it over like lots of songs.

Age! !'ve seen that show a about a year ago and Peter was well dressed but Gordon looked and dressed like a absolute slob. I doubt that Gordon's dressing habits had anything to do with it but about two months ago Gordon passed away. I saw them in their heyday and they sounded just as good on PBS.

"Lock me away with my loneliness?" Well, you'd be alone, wouldn't he? If he's expecting his 'true love' to 'arrive,' but doesn''t know "when," how does he know she's going to come? Also, if she is his 'true love,' he'd know whether or not she was coming, wouldn't he?
