  • It's a very good performance. However, I think from about 1:00 the cellist needs to be a lot quieter cause the tune is in the base. It just seems a bit out of place to play the chords so loud when the bass quite obviously has the melody. Beautiful piece! :)

  • It's not that rare to see double bassists play seated. Just about every orchestral bassist does. Maybe not so many solo players, but I play seated, and playing this piece standing would not be so fun. Kinda longish.

  • It is rare to see someone sit down to play the double bass.

  • I love the Rossini duet but for some reason we suffer very poor phonics on this you tube video

  • It is rare to see the double bass being played while the musician is seated.

  • those aren't violins, those are cello and double bass.

  • I've never seen people play violins that big..
