The Porsche 959 from team Grand Junk won the first race on the Mountain Rally Course of 2012 today. It beat the VW Type 181 by a half of a second with its 19.8sec run. The VW looked like it had some trouble keeping control after the second jump, which seemed to really slow it down. Team Grand Junk earns another point for this victory and gets to move onto round 2, but Easy Iron has already been eliminated and will have to wait until next week for their next race.
