I think he looks really good - with or without make-up. Actually, my most favourite picture of Mana-sama is one of the really old ones; he wears a big, black hat in it and is on his way somewhere...

The second picture, (the comparison pic) the pic on the left is mana before all the makeup and the Lolita styles. In the very early 90's, gackt, kozi, yuuki, and kami all didn't have all the extravavagent clothing and dramatic hair and makeup. They just wore their hair different, and wore more modern clothing. Look up their concert at a women's college. Mana isn't wearing a huge dramatic outfit, and he's hardly wearing any makeup.

You'll be surprised at what makeup can do. I always look at facial features. The lips, eyes, face shape. Mana has the lips that are kind of sharp on the upper lip. That picture IS Mana, believe it or not.

i don't think that, that is him after looking at early photos of the band. his band members kind of look alike som times and even wi out contacts on he has a very natural weepy look. a very diff look. no one can look that diff even wi makeuo on. if you look at his early photos u can see that he is simply a very pretty person. unless he got plastic surgery that photo cant b him.
