Because living on 10' x 10' for about 30 years is not punishment to you? Petitioning for the death penalty is quite different from petitioning for 'just' a punishment. Innocence or guilt is not the main focus; a fair trial is a constitutional right in your country. People support that. The death penalty should be abolished. People support that. Mumia himself is number three on the list of why we support him. I for one support every single person in his situation.
