  • I am VERY sad that you sold one of your cows. Aren't you concern what is going to happen to the cow? Aren't you concern if the buyer slaughter him/her? Aren't you concern about the future of the cow? I am not happy to watch this video to the end and won't watch any other parts. Very Sad! Hope the cow is well taken care of and doesn't end up on a plate!

  • Pezra went to a family that adores her, will care for her and milk her for many years. She just calved and the heifer, Willow, has gone to live with the owner's mother to be trained up to be another family milk cow.

The animals we have had to sell have all gone to incredible homes. That has taken the sting out of having to part with them. The other cow we sold is ministering to a little girl who has had to endure repeated surgeries in her short life. These cows are doing good in the world.

  • Sad that animals have to leave. We try to give our animals the best life we can, knowing that one day we may have to get rid of them. Life changes things.

Our first goats will be kidding next week also!

Will you keep your chicks seperate at first? Pecking orders sometimes kill the smaller ones.

  • We will keep them inside until they are old enough and then keep them in the milking barn before integrating them.

  • Change is sad...but I guess that is life on a farm. All the new changes should make for a very interesting time this spring. It seems that the amount of animals you will have will be in better balance with the land you have. Thanks for posting, and good luck with everything.

  • Thank you for your comment.

  • I am glad to hear that the cows went to good families. I love animals and the last thing that I like to see is them suffering. Thanks for the reply and I am very happy to hear that they are living happily with their new family.
