This area is MUCH shorter than the Lost Sanctum was. Still, I do wish it had more content, rather than just re-using random areas from the game.

The spoilers I speak of will not come until later. By the 4th and final part, it will be more obvious.

  • did you like chrono cross? I don't think I'll ever get around to playing that, a friend of mine said he hated the game

  • @SonikChaos I have mixed feelings about it, which will be touched on in either part 69 or 70. I myself have never actually PLAYED it, but having seen what the game has to offer, I will say it appears to be a pretty good game on its own, but it suffers as a sequel to Chrono Trigger.

  • Sorry to bitch, but:

This new equipment is useless. It just makes an already very easy game still easier. You're already invincible. If they created a bonus area, they should have stocked it with monsters that could pose a threat to HP=999 MagDef=** characters, that would force you to actually THINK. This is just busywork. Only diff between this and the SNES version seems to be lame areas and equipment you can collect, but don't need for anything.

Then again, I'm probably just old. :p

  • @iffysam While I under stand where you're comming from, you can't even get this equipment until AFTER you've already beaten the game, so it's not like it cheapens that value of the initial gameplay. You're already overpowered in a New Game+ anyway, so there's little effect there either.

While not required, some of this equipment is going to very VERY useful in fighting the DS exclusive boss.

  • OMG just tell me your are great palyer y never think the magus chater about hold on UP and can move free once i went to right but just lucky thenx girl

  • If ur having trouble charming enemies, use the dual tech twin charm that Marle and Ayla use. That's helped me alot.

  • @SonikChaos Ur friend isn't the only one who hates it. Too many effing PC's. The plot kinda sucks. If u don't mind spoilers, check out the gameplay for it and decide if u like it or not.

  • @Zenryu7 I think they were just lazy. Y couldn't they put in the Singing Mountain dungeon instead of Dimentional Vortex? It would've been more satisfying.

  • ♥ .

  • first time back on youtube in 2 months and this is where i go... The extra content was pretty lame with content...

those roly poly's wont attack u if u just stand there they'll roll rite by. I really dont believe they reused areas in this "additional content" they could've done so much better....

  • The snow area with the unrelease music and evil Marle made up for all the reuse enemies/maps in this place. They should of at least buffed up the enemies on the old maps for this part.

  • @SonikChaos CC looks fantastic, sounds fantastic, and has some really intriguing plot elements. But gameplay gets repetitive, leveling is bizarre, there's almost no challenge, it's extremely linear, and the story starts to fall apart near the end. If you want to play a game where you're taken by the hand through a lush and beautiful story, with an unusual battle system, it's worth a look.

But it wasn't for the name, you wouldn't confuse it for a CT sequel at all. So it really isn't one.
