I met Bob in 1977 and have known him ever since. He is the man. One of the few real deal blues man and old school players left. West side blues at his best

I sat in with Smilin Bobby at the Up And Under in milwaukee the night of Jimmie Lee' Robinson Funeral. Bobby , Bob Stroger and somebody on drums. Just them 3 tore the place up.

I saw Smilin' Bobby in the late 1980's with the Buster Benton, and he was fine. But Buster was nothing short of SUPERB! Has anybody out there got any footage of the great Buster Benton in action?
