This 5-part video series contains various strange things I do in Final Fantasy Tactics. From a single enemy having an extreme number of status effects (17!), to luring enemies, especially human enemies, into the water, to just random fiddling around, I'm very entertained by these kinds of things. My usual strategies and setups are used here. Unlike my previous videos, however, I've progressed significantly with the game's story. Level 99 characters against level 8 enemies which are half as fast - you'd know who'll win. Guests are far more annoying than an otherwise inaccessible archer and I've gotten very close to actually putting them to sleep so they can't act (and luring them into the water as well). This battle music is the least liked of all. This video spans close to 43 minutes and is split up into 5 segments as a result.
What started this was that, upon reaching chapter 3, I saw "fur shop" as available and I recalled the thief's "secret hunt" ability. I went around to random battle sites for monsters that I could get with it to obtain a few furs. Through a chance encounter with a thief in the second battle while attempting to poach the monsters for the wanted furs, I recently got involved with getting the thief to steal whatever new equipment I could get from them, what you'd probably expect to see at the end of the game. This is the huge benefit of being on level 99 so early in the game's story instead of around 20 or so at my current point in the story. I take every opportunity to grab whatever I can. When I got this battle, I've never encountered the crystal shield, the rune blade, etc. that the enemy knight has, but with the thief, I can obtain these well before any shops carry them. This video spans close to 43 minutes and is split up into 5 segments as a result.
The video has 9 "stages" involved. The first segment covers stages 1 and 2. The first stage involves getting a random battle with a brief overview of some of the equipment and abilities I have set beforehand. Most of the equipment of the main party (characters 1, 2, 4, 6, and 7) has been taken from the human enemies and no shops even carry them (with some exceptions). Stage 2 is where I disable the enemies as fast as possible by putting them to sleep, along with starting to add other status effects toward the end of stage 2.
i dont get why this battle took more than 5 minutes

How about a battle that took 7 hours? That's currently my longest.

If I recall, I didn't have high end equipment (this was practically the beginning of the story still). Today, however, I've maxed out pretty much everything - 999 HP, 999 MP, 50 speed and 99 PA. Only MA is behind. Gameshark? Nope, nothing like it is needed (and I don't have one for the PS1). See my max stats guide for details on how to do that. Disgaea has pretty much taken over this game.

@ulillillia I agree there but you cant deny, for Squire Enix to come up with this kind of game is Amazing considering all the negative reviews for the newer ones.....Shows that graphics dont mean everything in the gaming industry.....

Game play is priority 1. What's the point of playing a game if it's full of bugs, has a bad design, awkward controls, too limiting to the player, or just isn't fun at all? A game may be movie-theatre beautiful full of all sorts of awesome special effects, but if it plays bad, few are going to buy it, resulting in a loss in profits. Good, reasonable graphics do help, though, along with good sound. I weigh game play, graphics, and audio in a 5:3:2 ratio.
