Man/woman of God.I'll tell you this.if u were assigned for me to reach out to and u only would hear it in a HIPHOP form.God will use ME just for that purpose.just like if u like ROCK.he would use the person he has CHOSEN to reach ur ear.how it needs to be reached.SECUALR hiphop ISNT GOSPEL HIPHOP remember that.if u know God how u say u know him.when he's speaking to you..ur gonna kno matter who it's from.If you choose who u want to recieve a word from your going to miss out on revolation= /

@ddamos00 that's only in secular music...secular music praises all that other mess...like who looks better, who can rap better, who can pull more girls and make more money...HIPHOP isnt evil...evil lies in the tounge of a man....it's what you speak out of your mouth that determines LIFE OR DEATH...to the ear that is listening. Now that's why God said that "MY SHEEP KNOW MY VOICE"...so when your listening to hiphop...understand the words that are spoken before you knod your head.u feel me?

@ebayisaballer *sighz*...as a Gospel artist that does alll genres of music for God...i would have to disagree on only 1 thing you've mentioned....God doesn't except all kind of praise...If your heart and mindset isnt changed and made new...your just making noise unto God....and i'll put it in a simpler way so u kno where im coming from..."What good is your anointing...if you bear no fruit?"-Daprophetess...seek insight on that...and get back to me...woman/man of God. and God bless!= )

actually, the hip hop culture was created with the point of expressing one's self and what they believe in. Most christian rappers are expressing themselves as children of God, and are blantely experssing the word of God in their lyrics! i stated b4 that i respected ur opinion, but now my level of respect has dropped to your biased and RELIGIOUS nature! you are twisting the word of the lord to CRITICIZE PRAISE!! i am saved, not religious. and there is a difference!
-
Jesus! now, i do respect ur opinion- for i have been in many debates over this topic and i understand your argument. BUT, we have to remember that God accepts all praise that is true from one's heart, just like he did david's. it is up to us as the ppl of God to encourage praise, whether it be in the form of contemporary music or with a faster, more upbeat tempo(hip-hop). to attempt to discourage truth from rapping his praise, is equivalent to being a non-beliver.

especially since God favored king david mostly for his praise and undying love of Him. when david sent up his praises, the people frowned, but God smiled and accepted every bit of it. da truth is literally preaching the word of God in his music, regardless of the beat it is put to. with this being his form of praise, we. especially christians should not try to stop him. especially since he's clearly preach the Word! not only is thuth praising God in his music, but he is also leading souls to
-
wat you are saying is the same thing they told king david! he is remembered most for what?- his praise. if you study the book of david you will see that he was ridiculed and rebuked for his style of praise b/c it was considered to be "not of god". when you get deeper into interpretation of that book u will also find that his praise was basically wat we consider as rap today. now dont get me wrong, some holy hip hop isnt all that holy, but you really cant speak against all music in that genre.
Not being rude, but dnt compare this guy to lil wanye...or no secular artist cuz he is different just cause he Repersents Christ. Speaking of pride. This man is having pride and boasting in God!! Not his works, he is giving God all the Glory!

but just because you rap doesn't mean that u have to talk about sex money cars and worldly things, me personally i think it is okay to rap about the lord, most people think it is wrong because of the form that it comes in but it is still the truth
