This is one of the last single-sliding door elevator to be installed in HDB flats, as part of the Main Upgrading Program (MUP). A major difference between this and the Lift Upgrading Program is that the former concentrates to improving the entire neighborhood with new amenities, expanded flat space, etc. rather than just the elevator itself.
In many cases of MUP, the elevator was merely given an aesthetic lift, with selected projects having one of two lifts replaced with the two-door model that stops at every floor (while the other still has limited stops). However, as shown in this example, technology has come to the point that there is little difference in performance between the single-door limited-stop and double-door all-stops design. This lift no longer slows down significantly to align with the floor, and even the capacity is the same. Therefore, it was probably decided that it would have made more sense for all future elevators to have the double-door all-stop design.
Technical Specifications (as shown in video, Lift B) :

The elevator model Fujitec is currently installing in HDB estates. Double-door, same voiceover and fixtures. It's the most common design found and it's everywhere.
