With the sudden & unexpected passing of MJ, I thought I would take a look at some of my personal MJ collection & I decided to video tape it so I could share it with my fellow youtubers. Probably the rarest item is the cd ringle that was released in November of 2007. It was scheduled to be released in October 2007 but the date was pushed back. A ringle was a 5 inch cd, that usually included a current song, an older song & a remix and a ringtone. The only thing these ringles managed to do was create a lot of chaos. The stores that offered them for purchase only did so for a few hours up to a few days. The giants like Wal*Mart & Target never offered them. Anyway they were pulled & sent back to the record labels where they supposedly were all destroyed. I managed to buy about 15 different titles though. The other rare items in the video are the 3-inch cd singles that were suppose to replace the vinyl singles & were released in the late 80's. These lasted a lot longer than the ringles but by the early 90's most labels stopped producing them. I managed to buy about 100 or so. I also managed to find 2 copies of the Thriller vinyl picture disc & the Billboard magazine special on Michael was from 7/21/84.

  • I sold all 7 of my Thriller singles (45s) unopened original first pressings and an unopened Thriller copy from the day of it's release for $35,000 last year.

  • @ninenine909 I've been collecting 45's for 49 years & only in recent years have they've been sealed. There were NO unopened 45's from THRILLER since they were all sold opened.

  • You should Seriously wait a while before selling your wonderful collection. You have some really nice stuff.

  • The only thing I sold was the VHS Thriller Video. I don't plan on selling anything else except possibly the extra copy of the Thriller picture disc.

  • Sales Pitch? You obviously missed the point of my video as I was making fun of the riduculous prices people were paying on ebay. I also wanted to show some of the rare items I have in my collection. I did sell my Thriller video because I really don't collect tape & he was so happy to get the mint copy.

  • 7000$ for a used original print of Thriller? Man i can get it new for 20€ on Amazon! 3inch singles are rare? Man I've a few ones of Bad and Dangerous. I wouldn't pay you less than one dollar for the vinyls. You've to store them vertical or the grooves gonna damaged because of the weight. The paper what you showing...well, yeah this could bring you a lot of money.

  • gotta store your vinyl vertical. your going to warp them out dude.

  • nice collection bro!

  • i have that cd ringle thing....

  • i bought them at best buy only for 70 bucks

  • Dude, If you are a collector (as you say you are) why the fuck would you sell your stuff............$7000 for THRILLER i know your just having a laugh but HIS DEAD and YOUR A COLLECTOR how about you appreciate his music instead of making money off a dead guy..................think about it
