If your car didn’t come with run-flats originally, proceed with caution. Run-flats work best with suspensions that are designed for them from the outset. You may find the ride too stiff for your liking. If the new car you are shopping for has run-flats, forget the negative press you have read in the past. Run-flat technology has rolled a long way since the early days, and it’s going to continue.
Yeah yeah RFTs are good in a sense that they can get you to a shop but that's their only advantage. Other than that they ride noisy and hard plus they don't last long. RFTs were a dealbreaker on a E60 BMW 550i M-Sport I was interested in. On top of that many shops don't fit RFTs so what happens if you're out of the urban areas?
Nice video but run flat are terrible on bumpy roads beside who cares about reviews for a places anymore? In this day & age people spreading lies on the cyber net, sad & wrong but true. If you want run flat tires go more Michelin 3rd generation or anything produced after, my advice

I don't see any reason not to be able to go conventional and keeping the old wheels, I wish that helps

@HMSDaring1 runflats have stiff sidewalls so it holds the rim off the road.... if they didnt have sensers you cant tell if the tires are flat
