In 2007, the Supreme Court declared that carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gases are "pollutants" under the Clean Air Act. Since then, the Environmental Protection Agency has announced its intention to adopt far-reaching greenhouse gas regulations. At the same time, Congress is considering federal climate legislation. What will these new regulatory initiatives mean? What will they cost? And will they do anything to make the planet cooler or greener? Professor Jonathan H. Adler will explore these questions and consider the implications of federal climate policy. The Las Vegas Lawyers Chapter of the Federalist Society hosted this event on May 3, 2010.
I clicked on this video only because I saw Adler's mug in the thumbnail. (Yes, I recognized him from the thumbnail.) 1. How geeky. 2. Jonathan has attained law professor celebrity.
