Shiro is scenting the tyres because he knows the truck leaves the farm and so he wants it to spread his scent around as much as possible. As an entire Tom, this is important to him. Toms also tend to target shoes and bags/packs for the same attention. Mostly by spraying them, though...

Nah, Shiro is all boy. But he lives with 3 younger cats on a farm, and they have their hierachy well sorted out as they get on very well together (lots of vids of them snuggling here). Shiro's doing the marking and scenting to let his brothers (and any cats who happen to passing through) know that Big Boy Shiro Is Around and TCB
