A waterwheel that works in a river. It has a counterweighted cantilevered articulated paralelogram to follow the rise and fall of the river it keeps the wheel oriented correctly in the current. It has about the same effect on the river as a canoe paddle but the DEP say's I need a 105.11 permit. I will apply.

  • For someone who haven't figure out how to measure electric current ( Amperage ) you have done very well !

  • that's the scum of beaurocracy saying : " NO Go "

and of course they always have proper politically correct excuses , and scare tactics, and " what if " reasons

  • Love it. Nice workmanship too.. I've got a few "run of the river" ideas as well.. I've always worried about the gov'ts stance on this. I can see how they dont want 5 million of these things on the river, and if they let one person do it... anyway, if the stream is on your own property, then thats different. Good luck with your battle :)

  • Generator 24 V site weeb discoide1451

  • Nice job. How about an update. What state are you in?

  • planetary gear was used in the washing machine, it can triple the speed coming from the water wheel

  • you can use planetary wheel to give more speed to your generator

  • After looking around I cannot find a better idea for using a flat river flow to produce electricity. I intend to build an experimental one of these at a friends house to see how it works thank you for taking the time to post this and I hope you are not asked to take this down.

  • Very novel approach.

I like how little construction there is as faras building water races or having to pipe the water and the fact the system operates just on the flow of the water without having to rely on any fall.

    Very good Job.

It's amazing in this day and age how gubbermints spout on about the environment and saving it and then try to tell people like yourself you can't do something that reall is helpful like this.

    Crazy.

  • Give this man his DEP certificate.
