Run Off The Road

Check out the left turn signal already on as this driver overtakes, with the intention of immediately pulling over and parking fully on the pedestrian footpath. Guess it really didn't matter that there was a cyclist between them and their parking space...

This happened to me on an empty road, except the dear old lady in the drivers seat drove off as soon as I was on the pavement. I stayed on the pavement for a while becuase it was 8:30 on a sunday morning and no one was about. 50m down the road I see the same car parked up and the old lady unloading her car and entering a house. When I stopped to let her pass she has the nerve to tell me off for riding on the pavement.

Every time I see a cyclist getting aggro its always a Ford driver.

Well... I guess there are a lot of Fords on the road so by the law of averages... TBH it's not just from Ford drivers that cyclists get aggro. Unfortunately.

Sorry to hear about your incident and while this woman's mistake may have caused you injury or worse, you have committed criminal damage. Remember that had the police been involved, whatever near death experience she caused you would have been instantly forgotten and you would be facing charges. Never let your temper get the better of you, no matter how tempting that may be. This woman is now either terrified of vespa riders or has a vendetta against them. Neither are good outcomes.

Should of kicked him. I was on my 125cc vespa today and a woman did near enough the same thing at a traffic jam. She decided to turn into an off road and pulled out right infront of me. For the charming young lad I am, as I drove past and had to mount the curb I gave her passenger door a swift kick, hopefully denting the panel as there was force ;)

The number of fucking morons in London scares me, and it's constantly increasing. Unfortunately it's not all drivers, there are a lot of dick head cyclists. This guy was doing nothing wrong, he is a road user just like the pillock in the focus... doesn't mean he should be forced on the pavement to avoid being run over.
