Sound Heard At The Cemetery

This is an exact rendition of what Jennifer and I heard while walking in the cemetery at about ten-thirty on January 29th, 2012. It was a very windy and beautiful night. We walked to the top of the cemetery, where it's at it's highest elevation. We were at the back of the cemetery, where it's closest to the mountains. We stayed there for about 20 minutes, talking and relaxing. We decided it was time to head home, so we started to walk back home. After taking only a few steps, we heard this sound. It was a very deep rumble that would last just a few seconds, then disappear. The rumble was intense and slightly surreal, sounding like an earthquake. Also, there were two distinct tones, that sounded like they were coming from the mountains. Based on their reverb characteristics, it sounded as if they were coming from about 200 or 300 yards away, but they were eerily present and audible. These sounds would happen every 5 or 6 seconds, and we heard them about 4 or 5 times. We were confused as to what they were, and I still don't have an explanation. It was very very creepy. This audio clip is exactly what it sounded like.
