Jack the Bartending Entertainment Butler

Electromechanica, Inc. designed and built this bar tending robot for a promotion with Stuff Magazine and Jack Daniel's. The robot was unveiled at the 'Toys 4 Bigger Boys' charity event at the Hammerstein Ballroom in NYC in December 2006.

The robot uses a PLC based control system. The arm consists of 3 motion elements. A wrist to rotate the bottle, a shoulder rotation to pour at 7 locations and a shoulder up and down to clear the glasses. The system can pour shots or mixed drinks.
