Something to do with his contract at the time, most likely. In fact, the reason why THIS short is not on "The Hire" dvd with the rest of them is because of that contract. He agreed to do the part and be uncredited, but only while the short was exclusive to the internet. When BMW put it onto dvd, they had to leave this one off.

It is a short movie commissioned by BMW, part of a mini-series. If your question is on the story: he realizes that the woman he follows (rourke's wife in the story) is ont the run because she has been beaten (by her husband) and decides to let her go
