For 1948 read 1988 in rural Scotland. I LIVED in your so called nostalgia. The area I live in WAS great in my lifetime -not now (And NOT through rose coloured glasses) Multi-culturalism & PC has ripped the soul out of the area and the people. In other words we have caught up with England, but it took until the late 1980s - IT IS VERY CLEAR in my memory.
