  • man I'm soo glad I took cpr and first aid classes. Twice too, I'm sertifide from infants up to elderly people. and I won't be panicking around what to do, because I'll be ready if I ever come upon someone who needs cpr. :)

  • I saw this segment on R-911 the amplifier was ungrounded w/only a two wire

    cord. A lot of older vacuum tube gear 2 wire non polarized cord sets, a hot

    and netural wire. If the plug is reversed the metal chassie becomes "hot"

    Whereby polarized plugs the wider blade is the netrual side, the narrow is hot.

    With a 3-wire line cord, any current leaking goes though the path of least

    resistance (ground wire) properly grounded outlet, would blow a fuse or

    trip the circuit breaker.
