@ImTheOneThatIWant123 Pixies did open for U2 on their Zoo tour, and it went badly for the Pixies. The U2 organization paid the Pixies very little and treated them badly. Few of U2's fans had ever heard of the Pixies and the Pixies played to mostly empty seats. Kim's boyfriend at the time was a scribbler for some music rag. He traveled with Kim on the tour and then wrote an anti U2 hit piece while they were still touring together, thereby causing yet more friction between Kim and Charles.
