I want this video on my 6124 classic unit.

friend, your plane is beautiful, I am Brazilian and would like to build a model of this, I can send the entire plant facility, please! my e-mail is: aquariumbrasil@bol.com.br

@ddrlankyj No sure what it would be total so you may be right. Some of the engines can be several hundred and if you have retracts that can add up. But to get the folding wings you can search Oregon Scale Aviation and you'll find they are very reasonable (less than $60). I would never build something like this and fly it because I'd be afraid I'd crash it LOL I don't fly anymore but do enjoy building.

@rwright142 even if you built something like this on the cheap, you'd be over $1000 into it by the time it's done. probably more than that. that's what I mean by a lot of money. I'm in the hobby as well and am familiar with building costs. I just don't have anything this fancy because I can't afford it lol

LOL a lot of money? Define a lot. Kits can be bought very reasonably and a lot of guys cut their own. The guys who fly jets spend a lot on their engines so price is relative. This hobby, like most, cost money and some can afford it and some can't.

@purplebear5321 a lot of money too lol
-
do you have any video of the flaps deploying? That's a neat video and a badass model, by the way.

its cool and all, just make it a little bigger so I can ride in it
@rwrught142 - Hey man - beautiful work no doubt, and I am ecstatic to see real aeromodelling still lives!!!
Question - did the F4U have mechanised wing fold or completely manual like a Bearcat??
...Balsa flies better as does ply and composites!!

@tomview1 They were hydraulic mechanisms that folded the Corsair wings.
