A good film in the type of Hitchcocks North by Northwest of a fugitive wanted by the police and also the miscreants. None of the films followed the Buchan book completely, but this one came the closest. It was set in the right era too.
Hitch's version of the 39 steps remains the best, but this one is well worth watching.

This was a shocker of a film and a disgrace to John Buchan's memory and a travesty when compared to Hitchcock's masterpiece.
