On December 28, 2011, at 12:10 a.m., a man armed with a handgun walked into the Plaid Pantry store located at 4030 Southeast 39th Avenue and demanded money from the clerk.
The suspect showed the clerk a handgun tucked into his waistband as he told the clerk to give him all the money. After getting an undisclosed amount of cash, the suspect fled the store on foot. A neighborhood search with a police K-9 unit did not locate the suspect.

Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward of up to $1,000 for information, reported to Crime Stoppers, that leads to an arrest in this case, or any unsolved felony, and you can remain anonymous. In addition, Plaid Pantry is offering up to $1,000 for information that helps solve this robbery.
