My final year project is a 3-minute composite animation, consisting of a CGI dragon and dinosaur chasing each other around the University of Kent's Canterbury campus and interacting with people and scenery. It was animated in Maya, composited in After Effects, edited in Premiere and the soundtrack mixed in Audition.

  • I loved how the dragon smashed through the glass window, the window completely shattered as the dragon was breaking through the glass

  • This is amazing! Putting 3D models in real life is really difficult I think! I like the animations and the perfect interaction between real life and 3D! You're really good at this!

  • no way, that dino runs funny as hell !

  • Well done. The CGI fits quite well into the footage. The only critiques I'd have are the dinosaur's running animation is a bit stiff, and the 3d models don't seem to have the best color correction during the compositing process. I think you could color correct them a bit to make them feel like part of the scene, and not added in.

    Overall, great job though!

  • Amazing, I'm studying Drama and Multimedia at kent and I'm doing Maya.

This must have taken bloody ages!

  • excellent, very enjoyable
