Disney's sketch "Blame it on the Samba" part of the 1948 "Melody Time" film. Donald Duck, Zé Carioca and the Aracuan dance to the sound of Ernesto Nazareth's Apanhei-te Cavaquinho sung by the Dinning Sisters and played by the hammond-organist Ethel Smith.

  • Wow! Disney had some good shows back in the day. Better than the mindless drivel we get now :( Love this! It's strangely psychedelic. Pretty bold for the late 40's :D

  • The Aracuan has nothing against the woman. He's just playing jokes. That's its nature ^^

  • What the ffff!? Only 22 seconds!? ._. What happened? I watched this a week ago and it worked!

  • Did the Disney suits muscle in this 22-second teaser for what's supposed to be a 6-min vid?

  • @piercethevale yeah, where the hell is the rest, eh?

  • There's a Toon Disney 1998 First Logo appears

  • uhhh

is this video supposed to cut out after 0:22??

  • I grew up watching this! I miss it so much! I loved this one and the bumble bee clip. I lost the VHS tape. :'(

  • this segment was actually meant for the unreleased third latin american disney film to follow after "saludos amigos"and "the three caballeros", called "cuban carnival". the film had about 10 segments, including a sequel to the gauchito and burrito called 'the laughing gauchito'. the 'samba' segment was the only one released.

  • The Aracuan Sounds amazingly CUTE!!!

  • I wish there was a channel that would play all the old Disney cartoons, shorts and everything all the good stuff, I would watch it all day long and it would never get old :)

  • that woman in the piano is the little sister of carmen miranda
