Some PC cases are good to disassemble and built new PC, besides one pays enough money for a new case, some power supplies about 350 Watts are still useful, if the CPU is about 1,5 GHz it's ok for a middle system, you consentrate the RAM, you usually get 500 Mbytes per system and that's because the old slots and banks (SDRAM used to come in 256 or 128 Mb chips). Combine the RAM and HD from one computer to increase memory. Not sure about how much those computers have by the looks of their age, but I love to get a few of those.

RECYCLE WITH LINUX. I'm typing right now from a 733 MHz / 256 MB RAM emachines clunker from 2001 that is running Puppy Linux 5.1. I have flawless wireless Internet, Chrome, Firefox, VLC Player, GIMP, Google Earth, OpenOffice suite, DVD player...tons of progams. I download torrents and tons of fun. Plus I don't worry about viruses and I don't pay a dime for it all.
