Sorry, but it's not a lot of help. You are holding the mini exactly under the correct angle for the light reflection to obliterate the colour so half of the time it is impossible to tell what you are doing. The lighting is awful so even the outcome is pretty much impossible to see clearly. And instead of the completely pointless dramatic music it would be nice to have some explanations - like what colour you are currently using and what you are doing with it.

Wetblending and blending are not the same thing. Wetblending involves using different shades of wet pain placed closely together and mixing the colors on their borders, in an attempt to create a smooth transition. On the other hand blending is using consecutive coats of lighter shades of paint to achieve a smooth transition.

Well actually... you don't need to know the colour in order to learn how to blend? who cares if it's GW's Scorched Brown and Vallejo Game Colour Gory Red? But yes, I agree that the vid is pretty bad. Only because my video converter disables sound. I still might do a new one (or try to) which isn't painting in front of my window either... I've been saying this for quite a while actually lol.
PS: ya it's one of the Eclipse Painting members speaking.

It didn't SHOW or TELL me anything!! I saw a guy using a brush and putting paint on a mini, never told me what paint he was using, any mix ration etc etc... Not good.
