@unfad1ng generally, smart people have the right idea about issues that are shoved in their faces (like homosexuality: an "issue") and their opinions are based around how it would impact on society.
...rick perry has no valid well-thought stance on how gays serving in the military would bring down our society: he's nothing more than a degree-earning dumb-arse with a red-necked "christian" (supposedly) indoctrination.

@unfad1ng Okay, a few facts for you.
There are people who make their living doing other people's school work. You need an essay done for university, any level, any subject... If you have the money and know where to find 'em, there's a person who will get an A for you.
Plenty of farmers end up rich. It's a very lucrative industry if you play your cards right and/or get lucky.
Finally, having money and having earned it do not go hand in hand.

@unfad1ng yes i can. i have perfect grounds to. gays serving in the military are NOT social infringements, and they definitely WON'T cause the downturn of society or the defence force. or no, let me guess, it was his educated judgement rather than religious indoctrination that lead him to that conclusion.

No you cant, and anyway, Rick Perry comes from a family of poor farmers, i doubt a farmer has enough money to buy a degree.
If he made his own money adn payed for it, that still proves he is not dumb, if you are able to make that much mnoey yourself you are not dumb.
the only reason people think he is dumb is because he has a texas accent and it can sometimes sound dumb
